KONE CHAIR BY ROGER MCLAY
The Kone chair has gained much attention in the post war design period. Roger Mclay was an industrial designer and used surplus plywood left over from the war. The folded ply was formed into a cone. Designed in Sydney, 1948. This piece was manufactured by Descon in the 1950s. The ply has been carefully re-lacquered and new brass screws/fasteners replaced.
